Staff from NCCCAP were delighted to take part in a celebration in Dublin Castle which was held to mark 40 years since the establishment of Community Training Centres in Ireland.
Since 1977, Community Training Centres have been involved in innovative training for young unemployed job seekers in Irish Society. Many of the learners who obtained qualifications through CTC's would otherwise have been excluded from active participation in both the workforce and in society.
NCCCAP is one of 38 Community Training Centres around the country. Staff and learners from each centre came to Dublin Castle yesterday to showcase the great work that is carried out. Centre manager Trina and tutors met with staff from other centres, Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton, and representatives from IACTO.
It was a most enjoyable day for everyone.
